With a passion for health and wellbeing, Jane, the founder of Tugun Yogalates & Wellness, brings over 30 years of experience in the health industry to her teachings.
She is a qualified Yogalates instructor, as well as a Naturopath, Aromatherapist, Remedial Massage therapist, and Beauty Therapist. Jane's unique perspective stems from her deep understanding of functional anatomy and how Yoga affects different areas of the body. She has worked with clients with varying health concerns throughout her career, allowing her to weave her training to bring healing to all aspects of body and soul. Jane's personal journey into natural health and healing began in her twenties when she studied Aromatherapy in the United Kingdom.
She continued her studies in Australia, completing a diploma of Remedial Massage before eventually obtaining a diploma of Naturopathy. After experiencing a serious illness in 2008, Jane turned to Yoga for physical and emotional recovery. In 2014, she completed her teacher training with Louise Solomon, the acclaimed founder of Yogalates. Jane is a vibrant and happy teacher who loves sharing the joy of health and movement with others.
The classes at Tugun Yogalates & Wellness focus on functional body alignment, allowing muscles to be strengthened and stretched without placing strain on the joints and back, which can become vulnerable to injury as we age. The Yogalates classes are fun and suitable for all levels, with modifications provided for beginners or those with specific needs. Jane creates a safe and supportive environment for all participants to experience the benefits of Yogalates alongside like-minded individuals. The class schedule offers flexibility, with a Tuesday evening class at Tugun Village Community Centre and a Saturday morning class at The Pines Meeting Room in Elanora.
The pricing options include individual classes for $15, a 6 class pass for $75, and a 10 class pass for $125. Passes can be used at both locations with no time limit.
