Welcome to Tuncurry Memorial Hall in Forster – Tuncurry! Tuncurry Memorial Hall is a multipurpose facility that offers a range of amenities for various community activities and events. The hall is located at Point Road, Tuncurry and is owned by the Crown, but managed by the Tuncurry Memorial Hall Trust.
The hall features a spacious community hall space that can accommodate large gatherings, a kiosk area, a well-equipped stage area, and change rooms. It also boasts ample public car parking and parking for buses, ensuring convenience for visitors. The hall is wheelchair accessible, providing an inclusive environment for all attendees.
Tuncurry Memorial Hall has a kitchen with cooking facilities, making it ideal for hosting events that require food service. Additionally, it offers tables and seating for up to 200 people, ensuring that your guests are comfortably accommodated.

The history of Tuncurry Memorial Hall dates back to its construction as a community project in memory of those who served and fell in World War I. It was officially opened in September 1921 and has since undergone various additions and improvements. Over the years, the hall has hosted concerts, meetings, dances, balls, and even served as a high school and local movie theatre.
Since July 2000, Tuncurry Memorial Hall has been available for hire as a community venue, offering a wide range of activities and events for the Forster – Tuncurry community. From dancing, concerts, and meetings to celebrations, weddings, fund-raising events, arts and crafts, and educational activities, the hall caters to diverse interests and purposes.
