Twisted Pole Studios, located in the heart of Nottingham, is a dance school and fitness centre specialising in pole dancing lessons. Established in 2011, Twisted Pole started in a small 5 pole studio before expanding to its current location in Warser Gate, which features 10 poles. With its convenient city centre location, it is easily accessible by bus, tram, train, and car.
As the largest pole studio in Nottingham, Twisted Pole offers a wide range of pole dance styles, flexibility classes, chair dance workshops, and even hosts national and international pole stars. The studio prides itself on being welcoming and friendly to everyone aged 16 and above. Situated on the 4th floor of a Grade II listed building, the studio boasts beautiful arched windows that allow natural light to illuminate the space. Additionally, well-placed uplights ensure that all dancers are always showcased in the best possible light.
The studio features original wooden floors with excellent acoustics, making it ideal for those striking heel bangs and floor work.
All instructors at Twisted Pole are highly qualified, first aid trained, insured, and have competed in pole dancing competitions. They bring years of experience and regularly update their skills, pole moves, safety, and spotting techniques. This dedicated team of instructors prides themselves on creating a supportive and empowering environment for all students.
In addition to pole dancing, Twisted Pole's sister studio, Twisted Aerial, offers aerial hoop classes for those looking to try something new. The instructors at both studios, including Cat Sambell, Romana Bon, Alyssa Balabanova, Nikki Fish, Freya Lenton, and Ellie Manktelow, are passionate and dedicated to their craft.
Twisted Pole's timetable offers a variety of classes catered to different abilities and interests. All classes require advance booking, and some classes may require a deposit to secure a spot.
