The Canoe Sports Trust is thrilled to announce an upcoming event in collaboration with Thames Paddleboarding. This two-day paddlesport course is specifically designed for Scout Leaders aiming to obtain their first Scout Water Activity Authorisation permit. It's going to be a fantastic opportunity for leaders to dive into the world of paddlesport in a fun and safe setting.
Participants can look forward to trying out different types of craft including Katacanoes, sit-on-top kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and open canoes. The course will focus on honing paddlesport skills, practicing rescue techniques, basic coaching, leadership skills, and effectively managing a group on the water.
