Tyrrelstown Cricket Club

Tyrrelstown Cricket Club, founded in March 2011, is a vibrant and diverse cricket club located in the Dublin 15 area. Catering to the cricketing needs of young players, adults, and community members in Tyrrelstown and surrounding areas, the club has rapidly evolved over the years. In 2017, Tyrrelstown Cricket Club joined Cricket Leinster's Open leagues, participating in One Day and Twenty20 cricket and achieving success by winning the Division 15 league title.

Prior to 2017, the club took part in various Leinster cricket tournaments, reaching the semi-finals in several competitions. In 2018, Tyrrelstown Cricket Club fielded two teams in the Leinster Open Leagues, with the 1st team finishing as runners-up in Division 10 and gaining promotion to Division 9. The 2nd team won the Russell Court Trophy and finished 3rd in Division 14, showcasing the club's growth and competitiveness.

During the winter months, Tyrrelstown Cricket Club offers indoor cricket training for young players at the Tyrrelstown Community Centre. The club also collaborates with Cricket Leinster in coaching sessions at the local Tyrrelstown Educate Together school, preparing the youth for competitions like the Leprechaun Cup. With top-class facilities in the picturesque surroundings of Tyrrelstown, the club provides high-quality training and practise grounds for multiple adult, youth, and women's teams.
