Hill has been teaching at UBC Shotokan Karate since 2012 and continues to share his passion and knowledge of the art with his students.
Ian Gan Yondan (4th degree black belt). Ian started his karate journey at the age of 12 and has been training in Shotokan Karate for over 20 years. He has a strong competition background and has represented UBC Shotokan Karate in various tournaments. Ian is dedicated to helping students improve their techniques, physical fitness, and mental focus through karate practice.
Both Ryan and Ian are committed to upholding the traditions of Shotokan Karate while also incorporating modern teaching methods to create a dynamic and engaging training environment for all levels of students.
