UC Netball Club, run by a team of dedicated volunteers, is Christchurch’s only official University of Canterbury netball club. Open to everyone, not just students, the club had 22 teams in the 2023 Winter Competition at the Christchurch Netball Centre.
UC Netball Club caters to both UC students and the larger netball community with teams ranging from competitive to social. They even have Open grade teams competing against other clubs and high schools. Off the court, UC Netball Club organises social events to create a friendly and inclusive environment for everyone.
