Southwest Pirates are thrilled to announce their newest competition for 2024 - an Under 23 Men's Basketball League! This is a fantastic chance for basketball lovers born between 2002 and 2008 to come together, show off their skills, and have a blast competing against each other.
Teams in the league will be put together via a draft system, where captains will pick their squads a week before the season kicks off. All the games will be held at the Hibiscus Sports Complex on Monday evenings, starting at 6:30pm. The 2024 season is set to start on April 29th and will wrap up with finals on September 2nd, taking a breather during the June/July school holidays.
Registration for players is now open and will close on April 17th. To make sure everything runs smoothly during the draft, all registrations need to be sorted and paid for before the deadline.
