Ultimate Victoria is excited to announce the return of the University Mixed Ultimate Championship (UMUC) in 2024! Taking place in the picturesque setting by the Murray River in Cobram, this event will run from Monday the 1st of July to Thursday the 4th of July, 2024. Teams from universities and TAFE institutions from all over Australia and New Zealand are invited to join in on the fun.
UMUC is a unique mixed gender event, providing an opportunity for both men and women to showcase their skills on the ultimate Frisbee field. Teams will engage in round-robin and knockout games, with typically 2 games scheduled per day. In the evenings, there will be social events for participants to unwind and connect with other players.
This championship is perfect for university clubs looking to introduce their members to competitive play, as a majority of players are usually in their first or second year of playing ultimate. UMUC is proudly supported by Cobram Barooga Business Tourism, ensuring a well-organised and enjoyable experience for all participants.
