Utuhina Badminton Club

National competitions. The Utuhina Badminton Club is one of the prominent badminton clubs in Rotorua, located in the Bay of Plenty region of New Zealand.

They also run the Shuttle Time programme, which aims to equip teachers and coaches with basic badminton coaching skills for school-aged children.

For juniors, the club organises interschool tournaments throughout the region in terms 2 and 3. These tournaments cater to different age groups, including intermediate (years 7-8), junior (years 9-10), and seniors (years 11-13). Talented children are also given the opportunity to trial for the Bay of Plenty Rep teams that represent the region in national competitions.
