Valerie Lissette School of Dance runs dance classes in Hamilton covering ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, musical theatre, hip hop and acro. Students build coordination, poise, flexibility, and musical appreciation in an encouraging teaching environment. As dancers get older, the school places stronger focus on technique and performance. The programme also includes participation in an entertaining annual production at Clarence St Theatre, with teachers delivering RAD and other affiliated dance syllabi.
