This year, Capoeira Beribazu - Yeronga invites you to join them in celebrating 50 years of Grupo Beribazu with a special event. They are excited to announce the presence of Mestre Falcao from Grupo Beribazu Brazil, who will be conducting two workshops – one for adults and another specifically designed for kids.
Here's a breakdown of the schedule for the event. The adults workshop 1 will kick off the day from 9:00-10:30 am, followed by an exhilarating rodada from 10:30-11:30 am.
After a fulfilling morning of capoeira, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a picnic by the river, weather permitting. Bring your own lunch and soak up the beautiful surroundings before the event continues.
In the afternoon, Mestre Falcao will lead a captivating kids workshop from 1:00-1:45 pm, allowing the young ones to experience the art and discipline of capoeira. Following this, adults workshop 2 will run from 2:00-3:00 pm, providing additional learning and growth opportunities for participants.
The day will culminate with a grading rodada from 3:00-4:30 pm, where individuals can showcase their progress and skills. To wrap up the event on a high note, an after party will be held at Slip Stream Brewing in Yeerongpilly at 5:30 pm.
To participate in all the workshops, grading, and rodas, the cost is $80. For those who can only make it for the whole day or solely the rodada, the fee is $60, which helps cover necessary costs. Moreover, if you are interested in attending the workshop, grading, and roda only, the cost is $25. To make the payment process easy, bank transfer is available.
