Voodoo Combat HQ is a Martial Arts Academy in Macclesfield, New Zealand that offers a wide range of disciplines including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Submission/Catch Wrestling, Muay Thai/Kick Boxing, Boxing (for Kickboxers), and Self Defence. At Voodoo Combat, the experienced and qualified coaches aim to help individuals build their fitness levels, confidence, and ability to defend themselves, all while creating a fun and challenging environment. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced martial artist, Voodoo Combat is committed to supporting you in achieving your personal goals.

Adult classes are available in striking and grappling disciplines for individuals aged 16 and above. The gym prides itself on creating a welcoming and family-oriented atmosphere, where members can experience something special that will last a lifetime. The coaches utilise cutting-edge coaching techniques typically reserved for elite athletes, ensuring a safe environment that promotes accelerated personal development.

Voodoo Combat also provides a variety of children's classes designed to suit different age groups. For children aged 4 to 7, there are infant classes known as Voodoo Ninja's and Samurai, which focus on learning, keeping fit, building confidence, and becoming bully-proof. Junior classes are available for children aged 8 to 11, and Cadet classes cater to individuals aged 12 to 15. All coaches are fully qualified, First Aid and Safeguarding trained, and have undergone Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks to ensure the safety of the children.

The head coach at Voodoo Combat is Dave Kari, supported by other talented coaches including Amanda Kari, Pablo Garcia, and Josh Burton. Their extensive experience and knowledge in martial arts contribute to the exceptional training environment at the gym.

To join Voodoo Combat, individuals must become members first. Prospective members are welcome to drop by the gym between 4:00pm and 5:30pm from Sunday to Friday to take a look around, ask questions, and learn more about the academy. Voodoo Combat values its members and offers free membership and insurance. As an added perk, individuals attending their first class at the gym will receive a free gumshield.
