VW Kenpo is a martial arts school located in Brunswick West that provides top-notch training in the art of Kenpo. Led by JVR, a 7th Degree Black Belt with over 60 years of martial arts experience, VW Kenpo offers a unique opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to learn self-defence techniques and develop valuable life skills.
With a clear and concise system of training, VW Kenpo focuses on practical and logical movements that enable students to effectively protect themselves and their loved ones in aggressive situations. The classes are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 6 students, to ensure individualised attention and the best possible training experience.
For new students, VW Kenpo understands the importance of a solid foundation. That's why all individuals, regardless of previous martial arts experience (excluding Black Belts), are required to undertake the “Introductory Course. ” This course establishes the student's needs and provides them with the necessary confidence and skills to seamlessly integrate into the regular classes.
