About
WADOKA Academy is a martial arts school located in Scarborough, offering a unique and effective Karate program designed by Sensei Colin Ninvalle. The academy aims to reach an untapped market that may have been discouraged by traditional martial arts elitism, providing students of all ages with a no-frills 10-step Karate method that is simple, effective, and sustainable.
Sensei Colin Ninvalle has been practicing and teaching martial arts for over 30 years, with a strong focus on the principle of Daana, or generosity. The WADOKA Academy program is designed to save both time and cost, with research indicating that it can take up to 5 years and $10,000 to achieve a black belt rank in comparable programs.
The WADOKA Black Belt Method is a 15-month program that focuses on mental health and well-being through Karate Katas. Available only online, the program is divided into two phases: White to Purple (6 months) and Red to Black (9 months). Students submit video recordings of their performances to receive a pass mark and progress through the program.
The total fees for the full WADOKA Black Belt program are $1500, which includes all applicable taxes. The academy also offers an online training system for convenience and accessibility.
Whether you're 9 or 99, WADOKA Academy welcomes individuals of all ages to join their program and experience the benefits of traditional Karate training. Contact the academy for more information or to get started on your martial arts journey.
