Walpole Bowling Club

In addition to the golf course, Walpole Bowling Club boasts a picturesque new synthetic green that overlooks the stunning Walpole Inlet. The green is equipped with lights, allowing for evening play. The club takes pride in the condition of their green, which has been described as playing beautifully.

The club welcomes bowlers of all skill levels and offers a variety of opportunities for both social and competitive play. Those new to the sport can receive coaching, while experienced bowlers can enjoy great competition. Social days are held throughout the year and everyone is invited to join. The green fee for casual social bowls is $5.

00 per person, with bowls available for use.

Club days are held from September to May, with mixed games on Sundays at 12:30pm and mixed social games on Wednesdays at 12:30pm. Scroungers games are held during the winter and summer seasons, with winter games on Sundays at 12:30am and summer games on Fridays at 5:30pm. The club also participates in the Pennants competition, with men's games held on Saturdays at 12:30pm.

The club has dedicated officials who oversee its operations. Kurt Lund serves as the Chairperson, while Janet Smith is the Vice-Chairperson. The club's Secretary is Ann Armstrong, and the Men's Captain is Dave Tapley. Raelene Muir and Damian Burton serve as the Ladies Captain and Pennants Captain, respectively.
