The Wanganui Surf Lifeguard Service is right here in Whanganui, keeping our beaches safe and ensuring everyone has a blast in the surf. With a solid 781 likes and 940 followers on social media, it's fantastic to see so many of you supporting and staying connected with us.

At the heart of what we do is making sure everyone remains safe in the water. Chris and the team are committed to providing top-notch lifeguard services, education, and training – all aimed at preventing drownings and promoting water safety. Our trained lifeguards are always ready to handle emergencies with first aid and rescue skills that are second to none.

Beyond our lifeguarding duties, we offer a range of activities for both juniors and adults. Our junior surf programme is something we're particularly proud of, as it helps develop the future generation of lifeguards and fosters a love for the ocean among our young members. 🏄‍♂️ They get to learn lifesaving skills, teamwork, and leadership in a fun and engaging way.

We're also active in local and national competitions, showcasing our team's skills and spirit. These events are a great chance for our members to push their limits and represent our club with pride.
