Warrington Surf Life Saving Club, located at Warrington Beach just a 20-minute drive north of Dunedin, is dedicated to providing a volunteer lifeguard service during weekends from November through to March each year. In addition to lifeguarding, the club also supports a wide range of surf sports teams for all ages, from young children to adults.

Members of Warrington SLSC enjoy access to hot showers, boards, club rooms, and showers on any day through a convenient lockbox code. Free coaching is provided for all age groups, and club days offer the opportunity to use watercraft and participate in various activities. Lifeguard training is also available for anyone aged 13 and over, free of charge. Additionally, members can enjoy free use of the club rooms, subject to specific terms and conditions (details can be obtained from the club administrator).
Membership subscriptions for Warrington SLSC are renewed annually and run from September to September the following year. There are two membership options: family membership and individual membership. Families with children who have signed up for a family membership are encouraged to complete individual memberships for each family member, as this aids in securing funding for the club.
Membership fees for the 2021-2022 season are as follows: Family Membership – $55, Individual Membership – $30, and Associate Membership fees vary based on the level of involvement. To inquire about associate membership pricing, contact the club directly.
COVID-19 protocols and procedures are strictly followed at Warrington SLSC. All patrolling surf lifeguards, including patrol support, must be fully vaccinated by January 1, 2022. Proof of vaccination must be submitted to the club prior to this date for record-keeping purposes. The club aims to ensure the safety of its members and welcomes those who are unable to patrol but still wish to contribute to club activities to contact them.

The club's Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held annually, and all current season financial members are welcome to attend. Com, with another member required to second the nomination.
