Water Ski CALYMEA is a hidden gem located in Barringella, just one hour from Wollongong and two hours from Sydney. This beautiful camping ground, children's camp, caravan park, RV storage facility, and water-skiing instructor is nestled on the banks of the picturesque Shoalhaven River, surrounded by the stunning Yalwal State Forest.

Sporting fresh water that is gentle on gear and boats, and sandy beaches for relaxation, Water Ski CALYMEA offers an idyllic setting for water-skiing enthusiasts of all ages. With limited numbers, this exclusive facility ensures a serene atmosphere and an intimate experience for its members.

When not enjoying the thrilling water-skiing activities, visitors can explore the numerous lookout points in the area, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. One of the highlights is sitting on Pulpit Rock with a beer in hand, admiring the sunset as the river changes colours.

For those who enjoy fishing, the main catch is usually Bass, although flathead and bream are also occasionally found in the waters. Additionally, the nearby Yalwal State Forest offers fantastic opportunities for dirt bike riding and 4WD adventures, with thousands of kilometres of trails to explore. Adventurers can even visit the historic Yalwal goldfields, just 15 kilometres away, and ride through some mines if equipped with a headlight.

Water Ski CALYMEA offers a variety of amenities to its members, including campsites with picnic tables and chairs, toilets, hot showers, and a swing-out barbeque over a fire pit. A boat ramp is also available for easy access to the river. To ensure the safety of members and their belongings, the facility is not open to the public and operates on an invitation-only basis, with strict security measures in place.

For those who prefer a break from cooking, Dominoes delivers meals to the campground for a small fee. Additionally, canoe hire and power boat hire are available upon request, providing even more opportunities to explore the beautiful river.
