For those interested in competitive gymnastics, Weald Gymnastics offers Floor and Vault squads, as well as four-piece Women's Artistic Squads. These squads train for upwards of 5 hours each week and compete in county and regional competitions, providing a pathway for gymnasts to excel in their sport.
The club also provides holiday clubs during most school holidays to primary and secondary school students. These clubs offer fun-filled, gymnastics-based activities from 9am to 3:30pm, keeping children engaged and active during their breaks.
Weald Gymnastics boasts state-of-the-art facilities, complete with a wide range of equipment at their central Tonbridge training site. Gymnasts have access to balance beams, vaulting tables, an air track, training blocks, bars, a sprung floor, and a foam pit, ensuring they have the necessary tools to enhance their skills and reach their full potential.
Led by Head Coach Geoff Turner, a seasoned coach with over 30 years of experience, Weald Gymnastics has a dedicated coaching team of 18 coaches. All coaches are trained by British Gymnastics and possess enhanced DBS checks, ensuring the safety and well-being of all gymnasts. The club also offers volunteering opportunities for young individuals as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
