Children and teens aged six to 18 are invited to join the weekly Main Stages performing arts classes at Stagecoach Performing Arts Torquay and Newton Abbot. These classes are perfect for those looking to improve their singing, dancing, and drama skills.
The classes are held on the Main Stages level and are split into smaller groups based on age, ensuring that students receive tailored instruction and guidance. What makes these classes exciting is that the activities vary each week, guaranteeing a unique experience every time.
At Stagecoach, we believe in fostering individual and collaborative growth. Students are encouraged to develop their skills both individually and with their classmates, creating performances that parents and guardians can look forward to watching. Alongside singing, dancing, and acting, students also explore various styles of music and dance, including musical theatre and street dance.
Drama exploration is also an integral part of our classes. Through role play, improvisation, and performance, students get to delve into the world of acting and truly express themselves on stage. Our schools follow an Educational Framework to provide a high-quality performing arts education. For those interested in joining, we offer a two-week trial for Main Stages classes at a cost of £50. The classes operate during term time and run for approximately three hours each week, with each term lasting around 12 weeks.
