As the largest not-for-profit youth baseball organization in Welland, we are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for children to learn and play the game of baseball.
The association offers various programs and divisions to cater to players of all ages and skill levels. From instructional divisions like Blastball for 4-year-olds to competitive divisions like the 10U Rep Junior Jackfish team, there is a place for everyone at Welland Minor Baseball Association. The focus is on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and, most importantly, having fun.
The association is run by a dedicated Board of Directors who work tirelessly to ensure that all players, coaches, and families have a positive experience. Umpires play a crucial role in the games, and registration for umpires is currently open to those interested in officiating games.
Throughout the year, Welland Minor Baseball Association hosts various tournaments, such as the Welland Junior Jackfish Tournaments, the 13U 'C' OBA Provincial Championships, and the Seaway Shootout. These tournaments provide players with the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against teams from other areas.
In addition to on-field activities, the association also offers online registration, umpire training, and a team app to keep coaches, parents, athletes, and fans connected and informed. With a strong sense of community and a passion for the game, Welland Minor Baseball Association continues to be a cornerstone of youth baseball in the area.
