Wendover Badminton Club

Welcome to Wendover Badminton Club, located in Aylesbury, New Zealand. Whether you're new to the area, looking to get fit, or interested in trying a new sport, we invite you to give us a try. Our club is based at the John Colet School in Wendover, and we offer sessions for both adults and juniors.

For our adult players, we have sessions on Monday nights from 7. 45pm to 9. 45pm. All skill levels are welcome, and we have four courts available for play.

We also have a dedicated Junior club for players under 18, which takes place on Friday nights from 6. 30pm to 8pm. Please note that our Junior club currently has a waiting list, but you can contact us to join and be notified when a spot becomes available.

To try out our club, the guest fee is 7 on a Monday or 5 on a Friday. This fee counts towards membership if you decide to join us. For yearly membership, the rates are 170 for the Monday Club and 120 for the Friday Club if paid before 3rd October. These rates include the required Badminton England registration fee.

We pride ourselves on being part of the Aylesbury and District Badminton league. We have teams participating in the league, which has recently restarted. It's a great opportunity to compete and showcase your skills.

To find us, our address is John Colet School, Wharf Road, Wendover, Buckinghamshire, HP22 6HF. Simply turn into the school from Wharf Road or Manor Road and head up the hill past John Colet on the right and John Hampden on the left. Take the next right through the barrier and into the car park. We also provide a link to Google Maps for easy navigation.

As a member, you'll have access to various resources and information. Additionally, we offer downloadable scoresheets for both Mens and Ladies Medley matches. You can find these on our club's website.

To stay updated and connected, we have a dedicated committee managing the club. The current elected committee for 2022/23 consists of Norman Slough as Chairperson, Debbie Barton as Treasurer, Kate Brooks as Secretary, and Mark Leach as Fixtures Secretary. They are committed to ensuring a smooth operation and enjoyable experience for all members.
