West Lakes Croquet Club

West Lakes Croquet Club is located in the south-east corner of Club West Lakes in West Lakes Shore, Adelaide, Australia. The club specialises in Golf Croquet, offering a welcoming environment for both members and visitors to come and try this engaging game that challenges both the body and the mind. Golf Croquet is suitable for people of all ages and skill levels, and the club offers the first visit for free. Visitors can borrow mallets, and it is requested that flat shoes are worn while on the greens.

Experienced members are available to assist newcomers and provide coaching.

The club has regular playing sessions on Wednesdays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 12:00 pm. During daylight savings, there is also a Friday session from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with the option to enjoy dinner at the club after the game. Established in 1985, the club is home to four sporting and community clubs and serves as a venue for other community and charitable organisations to hold meetings, functions, and special events. Club West Lakes has over 700 junior and senior full and social members.

Each club within Club West Lakes operates independently, with the “Community Club” overseeing the management of the building facilities, including the bar, kitchen, and facility hiring. Recent renovations have resulted in upgraded clubrooms and sporting facilities that the club takes pride in. As a hub of community activity, Club West Lakes hosts various events, offers live music, and serves Friday night meals, providing an opportunity for members and visitors to enjoy the hospitality of the club.

Club West Lakes is delighted to have Stephen Mullighan MP, the State Member for Lee, as their Patron. Stephen Mullighan, who has served as the State Member for Lee since 2014, is also the Treasurer in the SA Government. The club's mission is to provide modern and safe facilities for all members, guests, and the local community, while also striving for excellence in their sports and recreational activities.

The West Lakes Croquet Club is proudly endorsed by Club West Lakes, alongside other affiliated clubs such as the West Lakes Tennis Club, West Lakes Bowling Club, and West Lakes Bridge Club. The West Lakes Tennis Club, opened in 1987, features 12 fully lit courts built to international standards, along with a spacious and well-maintained clubhouse. The club has hosted significant events like The Charles Sturt Adelaide International, The Masters Games, The University Games, and Australian Money Tournaments.
