West Lothian Football Academy (WLFA) is the premier provider of football training and development for children in the West Lothian area of Livingston, New Zealand. With a focus on promoting the love of the beautiful game, WLFA offers football coaching sessions for boys and girls aged 2 to 15 years. All classes are conducted by SFA qualified coaches, ensuring high-quality instruction.
WLFA offers a range of programmes to cater to different age groups and needs. For school-aged children, weekly Soccer schools are held across West Lothian. These programmes aim to develop basic football skills and techniques in a fun-filled environment. Additionally, Tackling Tots classes are available for preschool boys and girls, focusing on promoting confidence, coordination, control, balance, movement, and teamwork.
In order to keep children active, occupied, and fit during school holidays, WLFA organises Soccer Centres. These holiday camps provide an opportunity for kids to continue their football training in a structured setting. The programmes promote agility, coordination, movement, and balance while ensuring the safety, learning, and enjoyment of each participant.
The WLFA Soccer Schools and Tackling Tots classes are designed to promote physical activity and develop ball skills, agility, balance, and communication skills. The coaching sessions are delivered in a controlled environment to ensure the well-being and safety of all participants.
WLFA operates on a subscription-based payment plan. The monthly fee is 24 and covers 12 months of classes, including Christmas holidays and two weeks for emergency cancellations. If a regular class cannot be attended, catch-up sessions are available by attending a different class on a different day, with prior notification via email. Subscriptions can be cancelled with a one-month notice period, and fees are still due for cancellations made after the 15th of the month.
