West Shore Masters Swimclub

West Shore Masters Swim Club is a welcoming and inclusive swim club located in Victoria, Canada. The club comprises individuals who share a love for swimming, great coaching, and socializing while having fun. Open to anyone who is at least 18 years old and able to swim around 1,000 meters (200m continuously), the club offers opportunities to improve swimming skills, compete in swim meets, train for triathlons, or simply enjoy time in the pool as part of a team.

Registration for new members for the Winter 2024 session opens on Thursday, December 14, with three available practice sessions. The club also offers WSM swag for those interested in showing off their team spirit. The club's mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals in the West Shore community to participate in swimming and engage in personal growth, discovery, and achievement.

The club is run by a team of dedicated volunteers who ensure its smooth operation, and the coaching staff is committed to providing excellent coaching, skill development, and fostering a lifelong love for the sport of swimming. The practice schedule includes sessions on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre in Victoria.

West Shore Masters Swim Club is affiliated with the Masters Swimming Association of B. C. and British Columbia Masters Swim Meets, providing members with opportunities to compete and engage with the broader swimming community.
