Welcome to Whitehill House Golf Course, located in Rosewell, just twenty minutes from the centre of Edinburgh. Whitehill House is a magnificent A-listed historic house that provides the perfect backdrop for our stunning 20-hole par 70 golf course. Designed by the renowned golf course architect John Chilver Stainer, our course offers a formidable challenge to players of all levels.

Each hole at Whitehill House presents unique challenges, and while holding par is difficult, the layout of the course is as rewarding as it is demanding. One of the most spectacular holes is Ramsay's Revenge, a par 3 that requires players to drive across a steep gorge to an elevated green. This hole offers three tees graded to suit individual skill levels, adding to the excitement and variety of the game.

Whitehill House Members Golf Course is considered one of Scotland's finest courses and is easily accessible from the city centre. We warmly welcome visitors and would be delighted to hear from you.

The course winds its way through a mature woodland setting, offering a fantastic and enjoyable playing experience. With a mix of par 4 and par 5 holes, as well as challenging doglegs, players will be tested throughout their round. The course also includes three particularly challenging par 3 holes, including the captivating 187-yard 8th hole. However, the signature hole at Whitehill House is Ramsay's Revenge, a truly stunning par 3 that requires players to hit over a wooded gorge to an undulating green protected by strategically placed bunkers.

At Whitehill House Golf Course, you have the option to play either 9 or 18 holes, with our newly added back 9. Additionally, we offer two bonus holes, 9A/18A and 9B/18B, to provide even more variety and enjoyment to your round.

Membership options are available for both adults and juniors, with annual fees of 450 and 250, respectively. Guests playing with a member can enjoy the course for a fee of 15 for 20 holes, while guests playing with a junior member can play for 10 for 20 holes.

Visitors are more than welcome at Whitehill House Golf Course, and the fee to play as many holes as desired is 35. This fee can be deducted from the membership fee if visitors choose to become members.
