At Willinda Park, we pride ourselves on our dedicated athletics facilities. We offer an all-weather polyurethane running track with eight lanes in a circular formation and ten lanes in the front straight. Our track is equipped with all the necessary equipment, including starting blocks and hurdles, to ensure that athletes have everything they need to perform at their best. We also provide various training aids such as mats and balls to enhance training sessions.
For throwing events, we have throwing cages and pits, as well as a wide range of throwing equipment including hammers, shots, discuses, and javelins of various weights. Our two high jump venues allow athletes to practise and perfect their high jump techniques. Additionally, we have long/triple jump run-ups and pits for those who wish to work on their jumping skills.
We understand that different events may require different equipment and facilities. Therefore, we also offer other equipment and facilities upon request. Whether you need additional equipment for your event or have specific requirements, our team will do their best to accommodate your needs.
Willinda Park is open from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. However, we are flexible and are willing to negotiate alternative times to suit your event schedule. If you require different operating hours, please get in touch with Willinda Park Management for further information.
We are proud to be the home of the Diamond Valley Athletics Club and the Diamond Valley Little Athletics Centre. These clubs have chosen Willinda Park as their base and organise regular training sessions and events at our facilities.
