Mike wanted to share a little something about Willow Grove Riding School in Kelowna. It’s a killer spot for kids to dive into the joys of horse riding. Willow Grove offers a bunch of fun stuff like Pony Parties and Birthday Pony Parties, and it's a hit with kids aged 3-12.
Mike makes sure safety is top-notch while keeping the fun levels high. He’s designed the lessons to match each child’s learning speed and rider level, so they can really enjoy every second in the saddle.
The horses and ponies at Willow Grove have been with the school for over ten years, teaching young beginners the ropes. They also have after-school classes and gift certificates – perfect for a birthday surprise or special treat.
There’s an indoor riding arena and a craft area, ensuring a comfy and safe space for all activities. All riders need to rock ASTM riding helmets, and long pants with boots or runners are the go-to gear. If you’ve got any ideas or special requests, Mike’s all ears to help plan the perfect party for your kiddo!

Frequently Asked Questions
We offer riding school lessons, pony rides, and birthday pony parties. Pony parties include time on the ponies, crafts, and kid-focused activities while parents supervise the craft and seating area.
Parties take place in an indoor riding arena and craft area. Each child rides for 10 to 15 minutes, with party lengths depending on the package.
Email Willowgroveridingschool@gmail.com with your requested date and the age of the kids to book. Payment is required at the time of booking, and parents must sign waivers for each child at or before the party start time.
