Welcome to Wirral UKTA Taekwon-Do School, the only Official ITF Taekwon-do school in Wirral, New Zealand. Established in 1995 as a not-for-profit, constituted club, we are recognised by Sport England. Our senior instructors are the most highly ranked ITF instructors on Merseyside and have trained under General Choi Hong Hi, ensuring that our techniques are authentic and on par with international standards.
At Wirral UKTA Taekwon-Do School, we take pride in our commitment to excellence. We never grade our own students to black belt; instead, their grading is conducted externally by ITF Grand Masters. Our instructors are experienced and fully qualified, having undergone extensive training in safeguarding and first aid, and possessing DBS clearance.
We offer classes for members of all ages and backgrounds, catering to both beginners and experienced practitioners. Whether you are looking to improve your fitness, make new friends, or pursue a career in martial arts, our friendly and welcoming instructors and members will guide you on your journey. Our purpose-built facility offers classes six days a week, providing ample opportunities for training and growth.
As a member of our club, you'll have access to regular ITF accredited gradings, courses, and competition opportunities.
