WIRRAL VOLLEYBALL

Wirral Volleyball is a vibrant and inclusive community sports club catering to girls aged between 13 and 18 in the Wirral region of New Zealand. Our club provides a supportive environment for young players to develop their volleyball skills and compete at various levels.

At Wirral Volleyball, we offer weekly training sessions that take place on Thursdays at Wirral Grammar School for Girls. The training timings are divided based on age groups, with the 13s to 15s training from 5-6:30 pm and the club session for all age groups taking place from 6:30-8 pm. These sessions aim to enhance the players' technical abilities, tactical understanding, and overall physical fitness.

In addition to training, we also provide our members with the opportunity to participate in local leagues and national age group competitions. This allows our players to apply their skills in a competitive setting and gain valuable match experience. Regular match reports are available on our website to keep our members updated with the latest results and performances.

To be a part of Wirral Volleyball, there is an annual registration fee of 20. The training and match costs are 5 per session for players aged 15 and above, and 3 per session for players under 15. These fees can be paid on a monthly basis through bank transfer or in cash or contactless payment directly at each session.

Our club prioritises the safety and well-being of our players. We have recently appointed Andy Hinch as our Club Welfare Officer, who will handle any complaints or issues arising within the club. Andy can be reached via email at Andy. Hinch@me.

Training sessions take place at Wirral Grammar School (girls), located on Mount Road in Bebington. Home matches, on the other hand, are held at Woodchurch High School, which is situated on Carr Bridge Road in Woodchurch.
