About

6:00pm to 8:00pm or on Sunday afternoons from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. The club provides all the necessary equipment and each session includes personal tuition from experienced coaches. Vouchers for future beginner's courses are also available for purchase, making them a great gift for friends or family interested in taking up archery.

Witchford Archers has a rich history dating back to its founding in 2011. The club was established following the dissolution of the Wychelm Archery Club and the transfer of its assets to the new club. Wychelm Archery Club, founded in July 2007, was affiliated with the GNAS, SCAS, and the CAA, and operated out of the Sedgeway Equestrian Centre in Witchford, near Ely, Cambridgeshire. The devoted members of the old club started Witchford Archers in April 2011, and it is presently located at the Royal British Legion in Sutton and the Sutton C of E Primary School.

The founders of Witchford Archers believe in archery as an inclusive family sport that should be accessible to everyone. The club strives to keep fees to a minimum and is a registered charity. They aim to actively encourage whole families and juniors, in particular, to participate by ensuring financial accessibility. Although archery can be a competitive sport, Witchford Archers also welcomes individuals who enjoy archery as a recreational activity.

To stay updated on events and shooting times, members and visitors can refer to the club's calendar or contact the club directly. The club offers shooting times on Sunday afternoon and Wednesday evening, with specific times varying throughout the year. Sessions are typically held at the Royal British Legion from August to May, and at Sutton C of E Primary School from June to July. The session fee is 5.

00 per person for the first session of the week, with the second session being free. Alternatively, members can choose to pay 18. 00 per month.

For more information about the club and to sign up for beginner's courses, interested individuals can visit Witchford Archers' website. The website also provides a contact form for any questions and inquiries. Under 18-year-olds participating in club activities should be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Witchford Archers is committed to providing a supportive and welcoming environment for individuals of all skill levels. Whether one is an experienced archer or a complete newcomer, they can expect quality instruction, access to necessary equipment, and the opportunity to enjoy archery as a recreational activity or competitive sport.
