Led by head coach Dan Korbely, a Wolverhampton local, Wolverhampton MMA offers classes in a variety of martial arts disciplines including Boxing, Thai/Kick Boxing, Wrestling, Judo, Submission Wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ). Our highly experienced and motivated coaches are passionate about helping individuals reach their personal training goals. Whether you want to learn self-defence, lose weight, improve confidence, increase fitness, or compete in mixed martial arts, Wolverhampton MMA is here to guide and support you.
Head coach Dan Korbely began his martial arts career after becoming interested in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) while still in school. After struggling to find a local gym, he took matters into his own hands and started travelling for suitable training. He made his amateur MMA debut after six months of training and went on to capture the AMMA British Featherweight title with an undefeated record of 10 wins and 0 defeats. In 2009, he made his professional debut and later retired to focus on coaching.
With his expertise, he has helped produce many undefeated and British amateur champions in MMA.
