Located at Woodbine Beach Park in Toronto, the Woodbine Beach Volleyball Courts offer beach volleyball enthusiasts a picturesque setting to enjoy the sport. Situated at the foot of Woodbine Avenue, this 15. 2-hectare park is a popular destination for picnics, sunbathing, swimming, and beach volleyball.
With wide stretches of sand and summer lifeguards on duty, visitors can enjoy a safe and fun beach experience. The park also features a recently renovated bathing station with upgraded facilities such as ventilation, lighting, change rooms, accessible washrooms, water bottle filling stations, and a beach shower with a foot wash.
In addition to the beach volleyball courts, the park offers various amenities such as playgrounds, outdoor fitness equipment, picnic shelters, snack bars, a full-service restaurant, and parking facilities at Ashbridges Bay Park. Visitors can also enjoy the scenic views of Lake Ontario and Toronto's eastern waterfront from the beach.
Woodbine Beach has received annual blue flag certification since 2005, highlighting its commitment to cleanliness and environmental sustainability. The park also offers beach wheelchairs that can be rented for free by calling 311 and picked up at the Donald D. Summerville Outdoor Pool.
