Woo Yong's Taekwondo Academy

At Woo Yong's Taekwondo Academy, students have the opportunity to learn from Grandmaster Jung, a highly experienced and accomplished martial artist. Grandmaster Jung brings a wealth of experience to the school, having served as the coach of the Canadian junior national team in 2002 and the head coach of the Canadian national team from 2003 to 2010. Under his guidance, the Canadian national team achieved great success, including a silver medal at the Beijing Olympics. Grandmaster Jung's dedication to Taekwondo has earned him the prestigious Golden Lifetime Achievement Award from the Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2001.

Master Jo, another experienced instructor at Woo Yong's Taekwondo Academy, began his training in Taekwondo in Seoul, South Korea, at the age of 10. His passion for martial arts extends to various Korean traditional martial arts, including Sibpalki, Hapkido, and weapon techniques. Master Jo holds a 5th degree black belt in WT Taekwondo, a 4th degree black belt in Hapkido, and a 2nd degree black belt in Sibpalki. His expertise and commitment to teaching make him an invaluable asset to the academy.
