Wynyard Swimming Pool

The Wynyard Swimming Pool, located at 312 Ave. D. E, in Wynyard, is a popular heated outdoor pool for all ages. The facility opens its doors on the May long weekend (weather permitting) and operates until the end of August each year.

Lifeguards are always on duty to ensure the safety of all swimmers, and play toys are provided for added enjoyment.

Adjacent to the main swimming pool is the Wynyard Paddling Pool, a heated outdoor pool specifically designed for children aged 8 and under. This pool provides a safe and enjoyable space for young children to splash and play under the supervision of a responsible adult.

To enter the pool facilities, all visitors must complete a facility swim test. This test ensures that swimmers are competent and safe in the water, and includes swimming continuously for at least 25 meters and demonstrating the ability to put their face in the water and breathe while swimming.
