The West Yorkshire School of Performing Arts (WYSPA), located in Guiseley, West Yorkshire, is a renowned dance and drama school that has been providing quality training for over 30 years. Founded by Principal Karen Fawcett, WYSPA started with just one class and has since grown into a highly respected institution with an excellent reputation in dance teaching.

WYSPA is also home to its very own Casting Agency, WYSPA Castings. The agency has had numerous success stories, including training one of their students for the title role of Billy in the first UK and Ireland Tour of Billy Elliot the Musical. Other students have also secured roles in commercials, feature films, and BBC dramas.
With an extensive timetable, WYSPA offers a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities. The school is affiliated with the ISTD and IDTA and also offers LAMDA exams in drama and LCM & Trinity College London singing exams. The school has an impressive 100% pass rate in all exams, with students regularly achieving marks over 90.
