XDC Badminton Club

Club play takes place on Sunday evenings at Waseley Hills High School. The club's designated time slot is from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with possible extensions to 9:00 pm on certain evenings. Visitors are welcome to join club play, but are asked to fill out a contact form in advance and be mindful of any restricted visitor play during league matches.

XDC Badminton Club primarily caters to competitive players and may not be suitable for beginners or social players. The club focuses on maintaining a high standard of play and accommodating the needs of its league members. Unfortunately, booking courts for social play with friends is not available, as the facilities are rented exclusively for club members and visitors on designated club nights.

For visitors, there is a fee of 7 per week to cover facility and shuttle costs during the initial four-week probation period. After this period, visitors who continue attending without becoming members are required to pay a fee of 10 per week. Full-time annual membership is available to members after three weeks, subject to committee approval. The club offers various rates for Adult, Student, and Junior members, which are prorated accordingly.

In line with the club's commitment to a quality player experience and competitive matches, feather shuttles are used during gameplay. Though more expensive and less durable than plastic shuttles, the club believes that playing with feather shuttles enhances the overall badminton experience and maintains a higher standard of play.
