When you arrive at Yellow Spider Climbing, you will find a range of on-site services to enhance your climbing experience. If you don't have your own gear, you can hire everything you need for climbing success. Our kit hire selection includes shoes, harnesses, and chalk bags. We also have a snack bar where you can grab a cup of great coffee, snacks, and enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere.
In addition to the climbing facilities, Yellow Spider also boasts a state-of-the-art gym that you can make use of during your visit. Whether you want to warm up before hitting the walls or work on your overall fitness, our gym has the equipment you require.
When it comes to changing, we have separate men and women's changing rooms with lockers to store your belongings safely. And the best part? We offer free parking for all our customers, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot for your car.
One of the highlights of climbing at Yellow Spider is the route setting. We believe that climbing is all about the setting, which is why our routes are set by some of the biggest names in the industry. Our setting calendar will keep you up to date on what's being set when, and you can learn more about the art of route setting.
If you're new to climbing or have children under the age of 18, we have registration processes in place to ensure safety. Unsupervised registration is for competent climbers and boulderers, while novice and cave registration is required for novices and those attending instructed sessions. Experienced adult climbers are allowed to supervise up to two novice climbers per day, and all novices must have a novice registration before climbing.
As a member of the Association of British Climbing Walls (ABC), Yellow Spider adheres to the conditions of use and incorporates the British Mountaineering Council's participation statement. Safety is our top priority, and we want all our climbers to be aware of the risks involved and the importance of following good practises.
