Loren, the driving force behind Yoga by Loren in Ware, wants to extend a warm invitation to the local sports community. Loren's own yoga journey began at a local leisure centre where she was simply looking for a way to stay fit. She soon discovered that yoga offered much more than physical exercise; it brought happiness and fulfilment to all areas of life.
Loren holds deep gratitude for the wisdom and support from her own teachers over the years. Despite being diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2022, she remains committed to raising funds for East & North Herts Hospitals. With a 500hr L4 Diploma in Teaching Yoga from The British Wheel of Yoga and additional specialised training, she continues to enhance her skills.
Loren has shared the benefits of yoga with a variety of communities, including children, families, primary schools, Brownies, Guides, and even festival-goers. At a local college, she has also worked as a Wellbeing Coach for SEND & ESOL students. Her mission is to make yoga accessible to everyone, a goal supported by funding from Sport England and Disability Rights UK. This funding enables her to run specialised classes for adults with additional needs and their carers through the charity Always Bee You.
Her yoga classes are known for their friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Whether it’s Hatha 'style' yoga with props and modifications, or her inspiring blend of Slow Vinyasa Flow and Jivamukti, Loren ensures that individual needs are met. Her dedication to inclusivity has been highly praised, making her classes a safe space for all participants.
In addition to her regular yoga sessions, Loren also offers sound baths that combine the soothing sounds of a Gong and Crystal Singing Bowls with guided relaxation techniques. These sessions provide a unique opportunity to connect with the elements through sound.
For those interested, you can join Loren at Laura Trott Leisure Centre in Cheshunt on Wednesday evenings, at John Warner Leisure Centre in Hoddesdon on Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings and evenings. Private or small group classes are also available on Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings. She hosts monthly sound journeys, offering an unparalleled chance to experience the healing vibrations of gongs and singing bowls.
Loren is passionate about creating a safe and supportive space for everyone, from beginners to experienced practitioners. Her dedication to inclusivity and her genuine approach ensure that each participant feels welcomed and empowered in their yoga journey.
