Rebecca Richmond, organiser and dedicated yoga teacher, extends a warm invitation to the sports community on behalf of Yoga Luxe Studio, located in Harrogate. Yoga Luxe offers classes for all levels of experience and fitness, creating an inclusive environment that promotes health and well-being.
Rebecca began her yoga journey in 2012 following a successful career in the fashion industry, where she modelled for esteemed brands such as Stella McCartney and Vogue. Her love for yoga led her to become a qualified teacher, and she has taught at London's leading studio, Triyoga, alongside some of the most respected teachers in the field.
Yoga Luxe Studio can be found on the first floor of Sweaty Betty in Harrogate, at 17-19 Station Parade. The studio provides a comfortable and welcoming space for yoga practice. Classes focus on feel-good movement for a healthy mind and body, accommodating individuals at all levels of their yoga journey.
The studio offers various styles of yoga, including Hatha and Vinyasa Flow. Hatha Yoga is slower-paced, helping to calm and balance the mind while strengthening the body. Vinyasa Flow Yoga, on the other hand, is more dynamic, linking breath with movement. Each instructor at Yoga Luxe has their own unique approach, offering sessions that can be either alignment-based and measured or energetic and dynamic.
Additionally, Yoga Luxe Studio offers pre and postnatal classes for expectant and new mothers, providing a safe and supportive environment to maintain physical and mental health during this significant time.
Mindful of health and safety, the studio implements several measures: students are asked to arrive and leave with a mask, though it may be removed during class; class sizes are limited for social distancing; temperature checks are conducted on arrival, and hand sanitiser is readily available. Personal mats are welcomed, but studio mats are thoroughly cleaned before and after each class. Prop use is minimised, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
