Gyana Yoga with Gill offers a wide range of classes and courses to cater to different needs and preferences. Gill Henderson, a highly experienced Yoga teacher and Yoga Therapist, leads the classes. With over 20 years of experience, Gill is a pioneer of Pregnancy Yoga and Yoga for Scoliosis in Northern Ireland.
The Traditional Yoga classes at Gyana Yoga with Gill are suitable for everyone, regardless of age, shape, or size. Gill emphasises that you don't have to be bendy or achieve the perfect pose to practise Yoga. She carefully adapts the Yoga practises to suit each individual's needs and experience. Modifications are provided for those with physical injuries, medical problems, limitations, and pregnant women.
Advanced practises are also available for more experienced students.
During the Traditional Yoga classes, students have the opportunity to explore traditional, aligned Yoga postures and flowing movements. The focus is on de-stressing the body and mind, bringing inner calm and tranquilly. Students are encouraged to practise at their own pace, allowing them to find their true self and reconnect with their inner peace.
