In addition to my yoga qualifications, I have also completed various workshops and courses to further enhance my knowledge and teaching abilities. I have studied Human Biology through The Open University, attended a Mental Health Course on Front of Mind, completed a Total Yoga Nidra Immersion with Yoga Nidra Network, and learned about Anatomy for Yoga from Paul Grilley. I have also attended workshops on Ayurveda, The Yoga of Acceptance, and a mindfulness course to deepen my understanding of the mind-body connexion.
Helen Barlow, the instructor behind Yoga with HB, has a personal story of how yoga has positively impacted her life. She started attending yoga classes in her 20s as a way to address the impacts of her mental health struggles. Yoga provided a gentle and non-judgmental approach to healing and recovery, creating a space for self-discovery and self-acceptance.
