Jeannie Stevens, a highly experienced Yoga instructor based in Sidney, BC, brings over 50 years of teaching expertise to her classes. Having previously taught in Victoria, BC and Whitehorse, Yukon, Jeannie has honed a balanced style of Yoga that focuses on the holistic well-being of her students. Her classes incorporate breath work, yoga asana, relaxation, meditation, and self-inquiry, offering a comprehensive and enriching experience for practitioners of all levels.

Throughout her teaching career, Jeannie has also worked therapeutically with individuals recovering from illness, injury, or loss, as well as those looking to deepen their personal relationship with Yoga. She holds deep gratitude for her teachers, Swami Sivananda Radha and Gangaji, whose teachings have influenced her practice significantly.

Registered with Yoga Alliance from 2001 to 2019 and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists from 2004 to 2016, Jeannie has demonstrated a commitment to upholding the highest standards in Yoga instruction. Though now retired from teaching public classes, she continues to offer workshops and individual sessions for students seeking a more personalized approach to their practice.
