Maggie completed her Teacher Training Course and certification in 2018. Since then, she has been teaching yoga classes in Addlestone and the surrounding areas.
Maggie is dedicated to bringing yoga to people of all abilities and making it accessible to everyone. Her classes are inclusive and welcoming, with a safe and supportive environment for all students. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, you are welcome to join.
In her classes, Maggie focuses on improving flexibility, posture, and overall well-being. She guides students through various yoga poses, teaching proper alignment and modifications to suit individual needs. Breathing techniques and relaxation exercises are also incorporated to help manage stress and find inner calm.
Maggie offers a variety of classes throughout the week. On Monday afternoons, she holds a chair yoga class at the New Haw Community Centre for those with arthritis or other conditions that make regular yoga challenging. On Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, she offers Hatha Yoga classes at the Tesco Addlestone Community Room and New Haw Community Centre, suitable for all, including beginners.
Throughout the year, Maggie organises Mini Retreats/Workshops in the scenic village of Finchampstead. These retreats combine yoga practice, guided meditation, and sessions with guest practitioners offering extra skills like gong baths, laughter yoga, or reflexology. These events are popular and sell out quickly.
Maggie is always eager to expand her knowledge and share new experiences with her students. She is exploring Somatic Movement and Tibetan Bowl ringing and revisiting laughter yoga to offer a richer yoga experience.
