Welcome to Yvonne Hoque Academy of Dance, a professional dance school located in York, New Zealand. With over 20 years of experience and an excellent reputation, we offer high-quality tuition for dancers of all ages.
At Yvonne Hoque Academy of Dance, we believe in providing fun and enjoyable dance classes that are accessible to all. We offer a wide range of dance styles including ballet, cheerleading, jazz, contemporary, tap dancing, theatre craft, and character dance. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, we have classes suitable for all skill levels.
We understand the importance of affordability, which is why we keep our prices competitive to ensure you get the best value for your money. New pupils also receive one free taster class to try out our classes before committing.
Our dance classes are held in three convenient locations in York. The Barnabas Centre on 218 Salisbury Terrace, Leeman Road, is our primary location. We also hold classes at All Saints Church Hall on Station Road in Upper Poppleton, and Lidgett Grove Methodist Church on Wheatlands Grove.

Please note that all pupils must arrive dressed and ready for their classes. Following government guidelines, we require a drop-off and collect system, with no waiting in the hall. Young children can be brought in and settled into class.
