Welcome to the Nest! The Zillmere Eagles Junior AFC is a community based club located in Zillmere, on the northside of Brisbane, catering to children and men who have a passion for Australian Rules Football. Established in 1924, the Zillmere Eagles have a rich history and heritage in the local area.

The Eagles' story begins in 1962 when the Windsor and Zillmere Football Clubs merged, creating a strong foundation for the club. In 1991, another merger took place with the addition of the Sandgate Football Club, forming the North Brisbane Eagles. In 1997, the club underwent another transformation and became known as the Northern Eagles. Finally, in 2005, the Zillmere Eagles were born, marking yet another chapter in the club's history.

Throughout the years, one constant has remained – a deep passion for football and a desire to create a balanced ethos in both on and off the field. This passion extends to all levels of the club, from our Senior Men's and Colts teams to our youth and junior teams. As a proud local heritage club, the Zillmere Eagles welcome new, current, and former players to be a part of The Nest.

At the Zillmere Eagles, anyone can play. We offer a range of programmes tailored to children of all ages, starting from 5 years old. Our Auskick programme provides an exciting pathway to fun and fitness for children up to the age of 12. For those aged 6 and up, we have Superstars footy and Under 16 teams open for registration.
