Ziran Martial Arts (ZMA) is a martial arts school located in Kew, Victoria. With a focus on traditional Kung Fu and Silat, as well as Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Yoga, ZMA offers a diverse range of disciplines for individuals of all skill levels and interests.

The school is conveniently located at 23 Highbury Grove in Kew, making it easily accessible to students in the area. The class schedule includes options for both evening and weekend classes, allowing individuals to find a time that suits their schedule. Tuesday evenings from 7 pm to 8:30 pm and Saturday mornings from 10:30 am to 12 pm are reserved for Martial Arts (Silat and Kung Fu) classes.
ZMA offers various fee options to accommodate different training needs. Students have the choice of attending one class per week for $100 per month, two classes per week for $150 per month, or dropping in for casual classes at $30 per class.
In the Martial Arts classes, students will engage in a mix of Kung Fu and Silat. These classes focus on principles, concepts, and philosophies of these martial arts forms, incorporating stance training, drills, techniques, body conditioning, and flowing routines. The aim is to develop strength, mobility, a solid foundation, and an understanding of movement dynamics.
Zi Ran Men Kung Fu, which is offered at ZMA, is based on ancient Taoist philosophy and Traditional Chinese Medical Theory. This Chinese martial art form combines physical training and conditioning, Qi Gong, meditation, and combat techniques to enhance the health of the body and mind. Through Zi Ran Men training, students can expect to enhance their spirit, regulate Qi circulation, and develop physical sensitivity.
Another discipline offered at ZMA is Bruneian Silat, a Southeast Asian martial art that includes training with various weapons such as knives, karambits, machetes, long staffs, spears, and tekpis. Students will engage in footwork, conditioning, and a broad range of techniques including takedowns, joint manipulations, and sweeps.
For those interested in a holistic practise that focuses on body mechanics and movement dynamics, ZMA offers Martial Yoga classes. These classes incorporate yoga-like stretching, strengthening, breathing exercises, body conditioning, and flowing routines.
