The 2024 SSAA (WA) Centrefire Benchrest State Championships at the Benchrest Shooting Club in Shire of Roebourne is set to bring together shooters from all around to compete in various categories. From May 25th to June 3rd, participants can showcase their skills in the 300-yard Heavy Bench, Unlimited, Sporter, and Light Bench categories.
Along with the friendly competition, there will be a Delegates Meeting on June 2nd to discuss important matters and hold an election for delegates. Each match will cost $25 and will be conducted following the SSAA Rulebook. Participants are encouraged to lend a hand in organising the event and must show their SSAA Membership Cards on the day of the event.
Medals and trophies will be awarded to top performers in all grades, with prizes handed out after each day of shooting. While there won't be a canteen available, there is plenty of space for camping with essential facilities like showers, toilets, and BBQ areas. Limited power outlets are also accessible for those in need.
