Benchrest Shooting
Benchrest shooting is a sport where high-precision rifles shoot at paper targets. The rifles sit on a table and the shooter sits on a bench and aims, unlike any other shooting discipline. The two major competitions are ‘group shooting’ where the competitor with the closest groups of shots (all in one hole) is the winner and; score shooting, where the winning placement is determined by each shooter’s score results for a bullseye type of target.
